SnapAction reads screenshots from Photos with PhotoKit so it can scan selected or recent screenshot assets.
Choose a few screenshots that contain clear resources: an article title, GitHub repo, event flyer, product page, invoice, place, or travel booking.
Check the detected type, title, URL when available, metadata, tags, screenshot links, and one-tap actions.
For your first scan, choose screenshots with one obvious resource. Good examples include a GitHub repo page, a post mentioning a repo, an article title, a product page, a travel booking, an event flyer, a contact card, or an invoice.
SnapAction intentionally tries to extract the primary resource rather than every incidental piece of text. Screenshots with multiple unrelated items, cropped titles, or unclear context may produce less useful cards.
Try a screenshot where the main title, repo name, URL, event date, place, or product name is visible. SnapAction works best with clear primary resources.
Missing-link recovery depends on enough visible context for Serper search and URL verification. Some titles or cropped screenshots may be ambiguous.
Only scan screenshots you are comfortable sending for backend AI analysis. Read the privacy policy and the screenshot handling FAQ before scanning sensitive content.
The Free tier includes 30 scans per month. Pro and Max raise monthly scan limits to 1,000 and 5,000; App Store prices are shown in-app.
